Crime Secret

Why is it that a criminal can't seem to keep their crime secret to themself and are eager to share the story with others? Are the majority of criminals really that stupid? Doesn't a criminal know that by telling other people about their crime secrets that it will only add to the evidence that will put them away in jail for a long time?

It's really funny sometimes, when you can sit in a large group of people and one of them goes on about the different crimes they got away with and then proceed to teach others in the group the crime secret step by step. How silly is that? Are they trying to impress everyone? Do they really think that it's cool to broadcast how untrustworthy they really are? What ever happend to the organized crime syndicates that kept all their crime secrets under wraps and denied everything? I'm guessing that's a dying breed in todays world where everyone seeks bragging rights.

Note to all you current and future crime lords: Keep your shortys in check and make sure they don't brag about your crime secrets with others. There used to be penalties for that kind of stuff back in the old school days. Maybe you guys need to take a few steps back to the basics to protect your secrets better.

Note to all you current and future criminals: Crime isn't cool and it's only a temporary solution that you'll eventually end up getting caught for. if you insist on commiting a crime though to pay the bills and feed your starving family, try to make a habit NOT to tell anyone about your little crime secret no matter how much you want to brag about it. That means don't tell your best friend or even your closest family member. And definately NEVER have any witnesses or accomplices.
